HAZARD VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT

A hazard vulnerability analysis (HVA) is a process for identifying an entity's highest vulnerabilities to natural and man-made hazards and the direct/indirect effect these hazards may have on the health community. An HVA provides the basis for determining the most likely standards and demands on emergency services and other resources that could occur during times of crisis.
